Sea and Mountains

Route developed
in collaboration with

ochi is one of the few places in the world where you can swim in the Black Sea and stand high in the Caucasus Mountains—all in a single day. This itinerary takes you through two completely different sides of the destination: the relaxed seaside atmosphere of the coast and the breathtaking mountain scenery of Rosa Khutor. Stroll along the promenade, enjoy Sochi’s lush subtropical landscapes, then head into the mountains for scenic cable cars, crisp alpine air, and spectacular panoramic views.

Sochi Seafront Promenade

Sochi Seafront Promenade

At the heart of Sochi lies its elegant seafront promenade and coastal park, where palm-lined paths open onto panoramic views of the Black Sea. Among its highlights is an avenue of trees planted by famous cosmonauts and world leaders during their visits to the city, each accompanied by a plaque bearing its planter’s name. The promenade culminates at the Sochi Sea Port, a landmark building designed in the grand Soviet monumental Classical style.

House-pickled vegetables, homemade sour cream, and local herbs bring authentic country flavours to every dish. The wine collection is praised by Wine Spectator, and the open terrace cinema-bar screens films under the Caucasus forest canopy.

Local specialities include red mullet and Black Sea turbot, while the Italian line features bruschettas, homemade pasta and risotto . The interior in a laconic style of noble shades resembles the atmosphere of a yacht, while the panoramic terrace is surrounded by greenery and offers a view of the old town and the port.
